The 5R's -- Reduce, Recycle, Re-use, Repurpose and Rot are the tenets of my product and shipping packaging. Consequently, I've become a sustainable busines in many ways that I'm excited to share with you!

  • GIFT BAGS FOR ORGANIZING

The various gift bags I offer with products or as gift wrap are ideally sized for rounding up spurs, riding gloves, head phones.....all kind of barn-bag essentials!

  • LIDDED JARS FOR STORAGE

Both my 9oz glass candle jars and my plastic bath salt containers with screw-top lids are perfect to re-use for storing all kind of things -- from office supplies, braiding bands & horse treats!

  • VESSELS AS VASES

Many of my candles are in a luxury glass vessel that is perfect for flowers. You can remove the label, but for that dash of equestrian style with your bouquet, why would you?

  • SOY WAX

My candles are made with high quality soy wax which is made from sustainable, all natural soy bean crops and is free of harmful toxins

  • PAPER TAPE

Gummed paper tape gives me sticky fingers and gives you one less worry when you toss your box for recyclying! Paper tape significantly reduce the waste created by plastic tape.

  • BIODEGRADEABLE LABELS

My shipping labels are completely biodegradable and never need to be removed before recycling one of my shipping boxes. This is an example of a material that reduces trash and makes recycling for customers easier.

  • USPS SHIPPING BOXES

USPS certifies that all of its shipping boxes are fully recyclable. And because I use paper tape and my shipping labels are biodegradable, you don't have to remove tape or do a thing to drop them at recycle!

  • MINI-PLASTIC BAGS

The plastic bag of peppermints for your horse that I ship with every order are the perfect size for containing a days worth of supplements/meds for travel. They are also great for keeping Advil in your boot bag!

  • CLEAN BUBBLE WRAP

I use clean wrap for every shipment, and I intentionally never tape the wrap, which means each sheet is pristine and great for re-use for your own shipping needs.

ROT

The corn & potato starch peanuts I use to pack my fragile candles are completely re-usable or biodegradable. Use for your own shipping, or run under water and watch them dissolve - throw them in your compost, or use them as mulch for indoor and outdoor plants and they will dissolve and feed your plants with each watering!
